"P.O.P.S. Award" Nomination

Selection Process:

  • After nominations close, a panel will review submissions and select a deserving father who truly embodies the spirit of POPS.
  • The winner will be announced and honored at the R.E.A.L. Manhood 101 Youth Leadership Summit & College Day on April 12, 2024.

P.O.P.S. Award Criteria:

  • Purposeful: Demonstrating intentionality and responsibility in actions.
  • Observant: Actively understanding and responding to the needs of others.
  • Passionate: Exhibiting strong feelings and beliefs, particularly towards family and personal endeavors.
  • Strong: Showing mental, emotional, relational, spiritual, and physical strength.

Award Recognition:

The recipient of the P.O.P.S. Award will receive special recognition on April 12, 2024 at the summit, celebrating their outstanding contribution to their family and community, and continuing the legacy of Wendell “POPS” Taylor Sr.
